Course Description

In this course, students will learn to create the structures in which we live, work and inhabit. Students will develop solutions to architectural problems through hands-on work including sketches, drawings, and models meant to introduce them to the fundamental principles of architectural design.

The course is great for students considering architecture as a profession and will expose them to professional architectural education.

The program will be taught by professional architects and professors including Sebastian Misiurek: an architect, designer and professor based in Brooklyn, NY. He is a founder of Simplus Design, a studio that focuses on digital design and 3D Printed products. Sebastian has a Professional Degree in Architecture from Pratt Institute, where he is currently a Visiting Professor and the Assistant Director of Digital Futures. He leads a teaching initiative of workshops that cover digital/parametric modeling, fabrication and visualization for architects and designers.
