Programs Approved By The College Board®
Our AP Art and Design Programs are approved by College Board (click here for our course audit page) to be taught to any student. Even if your school does not have an AP Art program or you are homeschooled, you can still take our program and add your portfolio and AP score to your college applications.
Whether you’re a high-school student looking to pursue an art degree in college, or you’re just interested in strengthening your skills to see if a career in art is right for you, the online program at the iArt Institute can be an invaluable resource.
Designed and Taught By AP® Art Portfolio Readers
At iArt Institute, students have all the benefits of in-class instruction and more. That’s because our AP Art and Design classes are taught by top experts in the industry. Students receive personal, one-on-one instruction from AP® Readers and AP art teachers who are highly knowledgeable about how the portfolios are graded and how to achieve the best possible score on your AP portfolio.
Real-Time Online Instruction
Unlike many online courses, iArt’s online teaching method uses face-to-face instruction through Zoom so that teachers and students can communicate effectively, in real-time. We use a comprehensive and technologically advanced system that allows students to learn, ask questions, and share work just as they would in a traditional classroom setting.
Advanced Learning Management System
Our online teaching method is based upon a superior Learning Management System (LMS) that allows us to synchronize online lessons, supplemental resources, videos, powerpoints, and more for the most efficient and effective learning experience. Students are guided through projects and creativity exercises and all work is securely stored and shared through Google Drive, to maximize convenience.
24/7 Access To Materials
Students of the iArt Institute meet once or twice a week. They do so in real-time via video teleconference and also have the ability to upload their work and access materials anytime they choose. Course materials can be downloaded as needed and creative work can be uploaded for individual critique and feedback. This method of learning gives students everything they need to succeed without having to wait until their next class to ask questions.
At the iArt Institute, we’ve combined the best instructors with the most convenient teaching methods to create an online AP art and design program that is both effective and accessible to anyone. To learn more, or to get started, please contact us to schedule your free consultation.
